Lazy Sunday Afternoon

I had to post these picture because I think they are a hoot. Sunday afternoon Bryttaney, Robin and Medium (the dog) found a nice sun spot to take a nap in on my bed :o)

State

Well we survived state. Matt lost his first match, won his second after a very stressful triple overtime, then lost his last which took him out of the competition. But we had a fun time and we are so proud of him and what he accomplished by just going. He was devastated, more then I have ever seen him devastated which really broke my heart, but he is better now. I am sure he is sick of listening to everyone tell him that he still has his senior year!

Robins boss gave him 6 tickets to Thursdays opening night. They were for a suite at the Pepsi Center so we went with Robins mom and dad and my dad and step mom. It was pretty cool. We had fun just messing around in that. It had a bar, TV, computer and very plush seats (which Robin and I appreciated even more the next day when we had our seats in the general seating lol). Most of the pictures are of us in the suite and pictures of the suite lol. After talking with Chuck and Pat we decided to take the Lite Rail into the Pepsi Center on Friday and that was a lot of fun. Between wrestling sessions we took it into downtown Denver to the 16th street mall where we ate at the Cheesefactory. It was okay and I can now say we have been but don't know that we would go back lol. We also walked around one of my favorite bookstores called 'The Tattered Cover' which is in a really old building. Then back on the train to the Pepsi Center for wrestling that night.

The picture of Matt is right after he won his second match. The group picture on the mat is him and his 3 team mates that went with him. We had such an awesome team with such good sportsmanship and togetherness.

We are going to state!!

What an exciting weekend of high school wrestling we had! Matt took 2nd place in regionals and with that he won a spot at state. After 15 hours of sitting in the bleachers, 1 pound of red licorice and who knows how much diet soda it was worth it. Robin and I are so proud of him. What an honor for him and he worked so hard for it. We are all still in shock. He was definitely not expected to go which makes it even sweeter!

Matt is the one in burgundy whos face I didn't blur!
