Shari's Challenge

This is from a day that we spent at the zoo over spring break. This is a digital layout that I did in response to a scrapping friend of mine. It is all digital in PSE 3.0. I can't remember where I got the background paper from. The 'CMZ' font is Cry Kitty, the other font is Pea Carrie Script. The brackets are from the Chipboard Bracket Element Set Created by Suzanne C. Walker. Tag Set Created by Lauren Bavin. The rusty brad is from Festival kit by Shabby Princess.

This 'N That

Spring Break has arrived :o) We started it off by going to a swim meet for Matt where he took 6th place in diving but didn't place in swimming, but we still had fun.

On the way home we stopped and took some great pictures of the mountains. I thought these were cool :o)

Robin has taken this week off and has all sorts of things planned. Today we went to the zoo and had a good time. We are all sore but it was still fun. The girls road the ponies. I never in a million years would have thought Brytt would get on one of those ponies but she insisted. She never stops amazing me :o)

Here are the kids feeding the Giraffes. Bryttaney took the picture of me :o)

Swimming Pools

How is it that our boys can play football, soccer, wrestling, competitive cheer/gymnastics...yet all their injuries happen in a swimming pool?!?! Last week was the first swim/dive meet for Matt and on his final dive he muffed it and face planted into the water. When he came up he couldn't hear out of that ear. So on Monday we visited the doctor and he had ruptured his ear drum! Go figure. If it isn't better in 2 weeks we have to see an ENT to have a paper patch put on. Remember 2 years ago Justin tried scalping himself on the diving board and ended up with 17 staples in his head. Who would have thought that a swimming pool could be so dangerous...

On a happier note...Spring Break is on the horizon. Just 1 more week left to go then we all have a week off, even Robin! Unfortunately, Robin says we are going to be cleaning out the garage :o( But at this point I don't care! Hopefully we will have beautiful weather and I can take some new pictures to post!

Bryttaney has really been into the Little Mermaid again lately and wants to get married to her dad. It is kind of cute. She has an old prom dress my mom got her at the thrift store about 6 months ago. Then this past weekend my mom picked up a veil, flowers and 'wedding ring' from the thrift store. So she thinks she is set...just waiting for a cake :0)
